Q. Why Are All Shirts On This Site White?
A. We're so sorry we can't offer the same color shirts through our web site that are found in the stores. Those shirts are screen printed thousands at a time. Because we offer so many designs, it's just impossible to carry inventory of everything. The only way we can offer shirts on the web is if we're able to make them to order. We do this with a high quality heat transfer process, which only works with white shirts. Even on white, we hope you'll find the designs and slogans have the same impact on you and those who see them.
Q. Why can't I track my order?
A. The Yahoo tracking system requires manual entry of shipping information each time an order is sent. Now and Zen's on-line store is more of a showcase than a business. What we really do is wholesale, with on-line retail orders constituting a fraction of a percent of our sales. To our dismay and no doubt yours, we just don't have the personpower to dedicate to these entries. If you want to know the status or your order, please email or call; we'll be happy to find out for you.
Q. Why does it take up to three weeks for me to get my order?
A. We usually don't take three weeks. Orders usually ship within a week of receipt. It's usually around the holidays that things slow down. Web sales is a small department for us. We've dedicated all of the room and staff we can to pumping 'em out. Thanks for bearing with us. We realize that others sometimes offer next day shipping.
Q. Is expedited shipping available?
A. You bet. Please just note this request in the COMMENTS section. Your order will be shipped according to your wishes (overnight, two day, three day). Extra charges will apply in the exact amount we are charged by UPS. It's usually about $10 more for overnight.
Q. Why can't you take international orders?
A. International orders cannot be sent by a trackable method at a reasonable price. We had too many shirts go astray. International orders also seem to invite a preponderance of fraudulence. In the end we decided it was not a service we could stay on top of.
Q. Why can't I find the shirts here I see in the store?
A. Frequently shirts in the stores are brand new designs. We must resist putting these on the website, as there are just too many pirates out there after our ideas. Where web sales are concerned, we have to establish new designs in the marketplace before we can present them for plagiarism. Contrary to the adage, immitation is not always the highest form of flattery.
Q. Why can't you make me a custom shirt like other websites?
A. Custom shirts require time from the art department, a thing they just don't have.
